All Baltimore City public servants are subject to the conflict of interest provisions in the Baltimore City Public Ethics Law, found in Article 8 of the Baltimore City Code. Some public servants have additional ethics requirements.
Section 3-24 of the Ethics Law requires all incoming public servants to review and sign a Notice of Ethics Requirements. This Notice provides an overview of the Ethics Law's conflict of interest provisions and outlines additional ethics requirements that may apply.
